House Heart Attack. If a house has a heart attack, it is it's main electrical panel and it's branch circuits that are it's arteries. D/FW International Airport may generate it's own electricity. Dallas/Fort Worth international Airport could become self-generating. If it happens, D/FW International could become the second U.S. airport with it's own major source of of power, joining JFK international Airport in New York City, which teamed with Calpine Corp.. to build a $150 million cogeneration plant in 1995.

Exterior Lighting Ignites Roof of Town Hall in New Hampshire. The building, valued at $1.3 million, suffered losses estimated at $50,000. The contents, valued at $85,000 were undamaged.

NEMA approves direct adoption of National Electrical Code - The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has advocated direct adoption of the latest edition of the National Electrical Code by governmental agencies. The Association's new policy is being communicated directly to the International Code Council (ICC) to clarify the association's position in a debate between the National Fire Association (NFPA) and the ICC.
